Is Tpny playing mellotron passages with ARP Pro Soloist?
MargusKiistheCritic (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Wrong. The real leaders of the band have ALWAYS been Tony Banks (the main man) and Mike Rutheford (most skilled songwriter). All others has been under commanders of the two. Peter invented the mask show and lucky for him Tony and Mike did not have any opinion about it. All changes of style of Genesis has been ideas of two leaders of band not Phil`s or Peter`s.

I too agree, Collins = pop! I didn't think Phil deserved keeping the name of Genesis, he totally changed the band and took the name of Genesis down the path of pop commercial = uck!!! With Peter it was ART progressive rock.. they were hot live! PETER knew how to put on an amazing show! Caught them 3x's they were hot!

Genesis is Steve Hackett. Every album with him is a classic. Something went wrong after that.
