Dude, I am not disagreeing with you on the fact that Baldwin is a far better actor. Its obvious you have an appreciation of film for its ability to tell a story, thats fine, but my personal taste favors accuracy.

It also could be because Boiler Room had a bigger budget and was meant to be a film. Imagine if you were watching Baldwin on the stage, denigrating his employees right in front of you.There two different scenes when I really think about it.

Ok, I agree that Baldwin is a better actor overall. But Affleck played the part better, again I hate Affleck and think he is a crappy actor.And yes most real sales people are boring. But successful salesmen are far from boring, we are a totally different breed of people. We are on a higher level then firemen, if your house is on fire they come and put out the fire (wow), we make sure our companies produce enough money so that all of you can buy your homes or pay your rent.

Baldwin's a better actor. Good acting is about telling a story, not about authentic. In real life I bet most sales people are boring.

You guys are all lame. Baldwin sounds like a fucking moron. I am in sales and we dont say stupid shit like him, bragging about watches, and BMWs to condescend other agents. Real salesmen do not need to threatened with being fired, we naturally have that fire and greed. Anyone in a commission sales position can better relate to Affleck, I hate the guy, but he better portrays sales people than Baldwin.
