I don't think Paul Robeson would want people to stop singing that song.Even now. Especially now.There are things in it that make people who were born in the 20th century, regardless of their background, think about what things used to be like. Things that we shouldn't forget, even if they make some of us uncomfortable. You can't ever become someone else, but you can try to imagine. Isn't that what a song is supposed to do?
