it only works in th GCN version of the game(which i will hopefully get soon). to do it, position yourself and get the gale boomerang out. in the direction you want to go in lock on a distant wall 5x. immediately get your sword out and jump attack and there you have it!

You can also use Ooccoo to get into the waterway. If you call her when in the room with the key, when yout warp back in you'll be in the room with the chained door. Then you can just use the key you got in the room before. Its much easier to do it that way if you suck at LJA like I do.
