Nancy Reagan was a hypocrite. That is, she told us to all "Just Say No" to druggs--yet at the same time she herself was addicted to Ronny's "crack".

CFMD28 is right...and it was Nancy Reagan who put her foot down on Watt's neck when she heard about it...she slept with the President...Watt was gone soon after this fiasco of actually saying the friggin Beach Boys would draw an undesirable element..her favortite song by them was "Hearts were full of Spring"...It was her and Ronnie's love song...along with anything by Sinatra

the beach boys were an influence for almost every pop and r&B hit love song i have heard, truly great stuff, not like nowadays shit-pop

The Beach Boys and Chicago touring back in the day was a fit. I first thought this WAS a Chicago song. I don't know if they ever admitted it, but the BB's had to have been an influence on Chicago's pop sound. |
