That was a great review. I have the SACD player but the amps were a little warm for me so I use Gamut pre/power. Interesting about the headphones, you must trade up to the HD650s which are great and will be a vast improvement over the HD580s especially with improved cable (I use Russ Andrews/Kimber stuff) Keep enjoying the music!

Hi, Alberto.Are you using a MCD 201 as digital Source. Well, i had some problems with the transport and i wonder if you had problems too with playing your CDs. I love your speakers and the Mc´s but i can´t imagine that they match together. Thankfuly tastes are diffrent, so i put my Cremona Auditors up with a Mark Levinson No.383, the MCD201 and a Clearaudio Performance with the Maestro MM.Have you seen the new McIntosh (actually Clearaudio) turntable. Looks amazing and would suit your System
