I think the Sword is great. Everyone has their own taste though. We'd be lying if we didn't say the sword wasn't influenced by bands like Sleep and Sabbath. But just because those bands came before doesn't mean they are ripping them off. There's no law that says you can't play heavy riff oriented music just because someone did it before you. But it's irrelevant to me if any of you like The Sword. Like I said, everyone has their own taste.

I know your right, it just pisses me off when they don't credit the 1 band that these bands sound like and worship. and dopethrone is a band, i wasn't talking about the album. I think the sword is alright, their not to be compared to weedeater and e-wiz cause their not that kinda music, their just a retro sounding band that emulates sabbath a little bit.

Why would you even give them the time of day?members of those bands rock Sabbath shirts quite frequently, they're not trying to hide anythingthe sword suck, they don't even deserve to be mentioned with such Heavyweights as Weedeater, E-Wiz, & SLEEP. and 'Dopethrone' is an album, not a band.
