godard, vers 3min40 est extraordinairement émouvant : retard dans la lucidité et justesse de l'après-coup. il est très beau.

I've made a mistake about the first Godard sentence. So he ask to one of his 3 friends wo are member of the jury (like Roman Polanski) to go to ask to the other member of the jury to come here with them.

Poor Milo Forman (Czech director), the same month occured the prague spring and he couldn't talk about that...Roman Polansky at 2:10 says that what is occuring at this festival remember him 2 day of his life in Poland during Stalinism... Roman Polansky didn't want to stop the whole festival but just the contest. He later resign from the jury to support his friends (Godard, Truffaut...).

4:20 Truffaut ask to the public if they want to stop this festival. Finaly Godard said his famous sentence "I'm talking to you about solidarity with student and worker and you are talking to me about Tracking shot and zoom, you are "cunt" ! (asshole is maybe a better translation)

For Royand Jimmy what Godard said is not very important anyway ; first he ask someone to go to tell to the 3 other members of the jury to come here. Then he says that their is no movie about workers or students problems, made by him or the others (Truffaut, Forman, Polansky...), and that they are late on this subjet. "Student give us the example by being beated up one week ago. This is not the time for watching movies but the time to show our solidarity with students".
