J'adore ce monologue d'Elektra. Borkh donne une interprétation magistrale de celui-ci. C'est mon interprète préférée pour ce monologue avec Rysanek et Varnay. C'est la seule chose que je connais de cet opéra avec un extrait chanté par Clytemnestre.

In my view, she was the greatest Elektra of her time, and this performance is a testament to her superb interpretation of this difficult role. She is electrifying throughout, but particularly in the final moments:"...einem großen König wird hier ein großes Prunkfest angestellt von seinem Fleisch und Blut, und glücklich ist, wer Kinder hat,die um sein hohes Grab so königliche Siegestänze tanzen!"
