It is a component of a variety of more specific philosophical systems and is incorporated into several religious schools of thought. Humanism entails a commitment to the search for truth and morality through human means in support of human interests. In focusing on the capacity for self-determination, Humanism rejects the validity of transcendental justifications, such as a dependence on belief without reason, the supernatural, or texts of allegedly divine origin. Humanists endorse universal morality based on the commonality of the human condition, suggesting that solutions to human social and cultural problems cannot be parochial. Good summary of existentialism but I cringed every time you said Sartre's name. It's pronounced "sart."

Its a very simple equation:"For every action there is a reaction".we just have to live make our choices, and eventually live with outcome of these disregarding the fact some people may or may not influence in your decision, there will never be no one too point fingers at, because at the end one is who decides and Lives.

I dont think freedom is the right word here.. If you MUST choose and are also free to make a choice. You are not free becouse the choice is forced on you. But then again you can philosophize it the other way around too. No, ulitmate answer anyhwhere, but then again: Isnt that the whole point anyway?

i think you are being a bit too result oriented. If. You. Know. What. I. Mean.
