no that was mosconi, mosconi did all the great shots for them. Jackie gleason was a very good player anyway too but not of mosconis level. rip Paul newman

Rest In Peace Mr. Newman. Your splendid style on screen will be missed greatly. I am curious if anyone knows for sure if Paul did that english shot at 4:37. Thanks for posting this

Not trying to be self serving, but I'm showcasing for the Actors Studio in November. I've chosen this scene.I never had the privilege but I sincerely feel as though I've lost a friend.

Agree 110%. What always impressed me about this movie is how Jackie Gleason's character is so smooth, calm, level-headed, and NOTHING like his better-known on-stage persona from television. Effortless. And Paul Newman...no more needs to be said...RIP
