I don't really like how he treated 1:10 to 2:40, but the rest is superb.

Horowitz's version is hilarious. Just for the beginning.

I like it very much. From my point of view as an amateur of Classical Music for Piano, I'm convinced that the Russian pianist Evgeny Kissin'pianistic tecnique and performance are excellent and amazing. From Lima City, PERÚ.

I prefer horowitz version, I like the Kissin s sound but I feel that is not very solid the musical speech. It ´s just my opinion.

I think it's really his musical personality.Personally, I think he sounds better playing Liszt than Chopin.

the very first bars remind me a part of tchaikovsky´s first concerto´s third movement

Yes, wonderful performance, but why i get the feeling bach and chopin is not for him? (yet) Maybe just my personal feeling only, but he sounds originl and eccentric with Prokofiev and Rachmaninov and Liszt. I can't get enough of him playing Prokofiev. but bach and chopin....maybe when he gets older?? |
