The economy isn't in the shitter because ford chevy and dodge produce bad cars ford chevy and dodge are in the shitter because of the economy i'm a ford guy always have been and always will be but how long a car last depends on howq you take car of it show me a toyota pick up from 2008 in 31 years i bet the 79 fords running around today will still be in better shape all car makers have thier proplems dodge was trannies, older fords rust a little faster than most...... etc

Yes, in fact, it probably would. But alot of people don't understand this concept at all. And this is the reason Toyota was let into NASCAR.

no not at all. and please seriously get your facts right. Toyota 4runner, yaris, Corolla, matrix, prius, rav4, FJ crusier, highlander, AND land crusier are all made in japan except the matrix(canada) FACT. Toyota has 6, SIX factories in the U.S.A. and 2 more that are a joint venture. meanwhile ford alone has 24 Factories currently open and operating RIGHT HERE IN THE U.S.A. Please do some research before you start running your mouth next time ok?

I havent researched GM global factories but I will assume you are right. However, that was never the issue. I was calling out the "anti-american" term. Toyota makes all of their vehicles in the US(excluding Scion) and DOES have more manufacturing facilities in the UNITED STATES. So wouldn't that make them more American?
