the more you fight your thoughts the more you will focus on them. when I see a thought i notice it then i tell myself go back to focus on breath. its hard to focus on 2 things at once. make your breath as attractive as the thoughts your avoiding.

The "God' hes talking about was created by Paul a roman pagan who belived in mythical Gods up on thrones like Zeus. It was a mistake of humans to create a separate "creator" . We are one with Spirit as Jesus said I and father are one. You are in me I am in you. I am vine you branch. . unity

I'm definately starting to get it. Actually, I haven't even been able to go three minutes yet without getting distracted at some point, but i atleast think that i get what spectrum is saying, and i'm looking forward to applying it very soon.

When I meditate, I can't concentrate at all. I start off with good, but after 2 minutes I start think about my personal issues. Does it take practice to clear all my thoughts completely?

Meditation has nothing to do with religion. It's to clear your mind and release stress.

no, because monks and nuns meditate, there is such a thing as christian meditation, which is basically meditations.
