No, it's not all about competition. It's about support. All the pressure that Murali builds up from one end is released at the other. But Warne has teammates who can CREATE the pressure so that he can just come in and take wickets.

I agree

Harbajan is the most irritating bastard ever to play on a cricket field. The fact that he slapped Sreesanth in the recent IPL shows how much respect he has for his own team mates. Since you say that 'Cricket is a fucking shitty talentless sport played by a tiny handful of second rate nations' this includes India as well. Which means Kumble and Harbajan are shitty and talentless. India has a population of over a billion and still can't win a gold medal (or let alone any medal) in the Olympics.

Warne is a fat porky druggie aussie bastard who is no match for the best spin bowlers like Kumble or Harbajan.Cricket is a fucking shitty talentless sport played by a tiny handful of second rate nations. Pakis cant play a real sport like football so they resort to cricket. Aussies like all criminals are good with their hands...give them something to kick they are fucking clueless. He was banned for one year for taking duiretics, which is a masking agent for drugs. WARNE TOOK DRUGS!!!!!.

i have a slightly different view, because warne has to compete with australian's pacemen as well...like cmon...against teams like zimbawe and bangaldesh...mcgrath and lee are gonna almost clean the whole order before warne even gets in...so...he wont be getting much wickets, BUT that also shows who is better...warne or murali...when warne has to compete against top pacemen such as mcgrath and lee...murali competes with noone but himself...maybe tahts why he gets so much 5 or 10 wicket hauls...

I agree., but I think his finest series was the 2005 Ashes. 40 wickets at 19.92 and a batting average of 27.66.

As for Murali's action... if Murali was in Warne's position in an Australian team dominating the globe, surely there would be even more of an outcry. That action would not make it past bowling coaches in Australia if observed at an early age. Both great bowlers... but I know which one I'd be watching 5 minutes of highlights of EVERY time.PS: That flipper. Sensational. |
