they dont eat baby hippos... are u retarded? if they attack a baby hippo they mother would get into rage mode and kill off all the crocs in that area, and why is that? well no preditor can ever kill a hippo becuse it skin is so hard a thick no claws or jaw can penetrate also with 1 of the hardest bites of all animal a hippo can torn apart a croc a lion u name it hippos are superior in africas wildlife
