I disagree with you...Gilles and Stirling Moss yes, but Pironi I don´t agree. I think that Alesi, Berger, Ronnie Peterson or Chris Amon deserved it more than Pironi did.

He was truly fearless. Just look at what he did in this video!!!! noone drives a Formula 1 car with one wheel almost completely off or the front wing missing. And he had real skill.

I saw his spirit in Montoya, but no one can ever come close to Gilles. And I include Senna, Schumacher, Mansell. Gilles was F1!I'm from Manchester, but I wish you'd stuck a Stone Roses song on! Personal preference, I guess! Reni refused to join them, the drummer of his generation. Says its all! Haha, I'm being daft. |
