I was boiling a pot of water in Louisville, Kentucky as the earthquake struck....the house started shaking just as the water came to a boil, it was the weirdest thing. First I thought it was vibration from the boiling pot, but then figured it was a sudden storm...walked outside and it was completely still. Called my parents in Murray Kentucky and they were fine (they live on top of the New Madrid Seismic Zone.)

They were live on the scene somewhere for that morning show. Normally they are in a very good location and good set (especially for being in the Springfield-Decatur 83rd Television Market). WCIA 3 (The Morning Show) is one of the best local affiliates for CBS in the nation. I'm more of a WAND-TV NBC 17 fan myself, though. |
