hey Gary, My boyfriend bought an engagement ring from there and they assured him before he purchased it that they would refund it if he was unhappy with the ring. so he took it back within one week and they said they couldn't refund our money because they were merging with another company. we went to kay jewelers and they took the ring and deducted what we paid for it from the price of their ring we purchased. but we were getting ready to sue friedmans had kays not been willing to work with us

It sucks more than you think jvicker2. I work for this shit-hole company. Google Friedmans bankrupcy and you will just die when you find out what complete and utter assholes they are.Basically they went into bankrupcy to avoid a class action lawsuit reguarding the phony insurance plan that they were selling to their customers. What a bunch of scumbags.Even though I'm out of a job, I am just as happy to see them go under.

ABC NEWS 25 (local) was made aware of this video on YOUTUBE, and they did a story on me and my fight. After the story appeared on TV, Friedman's sent me a check over night!!!
