your specs are better, im on the Q6600 aswellCSS is a single threaded game, meaning only one core will be used. His cpu is clocked at 4ghz compared to 2.4ghzanything above 60fps is not reconigzed unless your on a higher refresh rate.

Jamepeidei (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)

artem1002 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
noob i know about vsync. and by the way you write stuff you've obviously never gotten 600fps. search counter strike source 500fps here on youtube and you'll know what i mean, it's true you can't really notice the difference becuz the gameplay is no longer choppy, and it's smooth, but you can DEFINETELY feel the SMOOTHNESS, faster mouse response, and better gameplay, so SHUT THE FUCK UP if you dont know what you're talking about!
emretzzon (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
and if you got a lcd screen, you will get some serious tearing if you got 600 fps on a 60hz refresh rate
emretzzon (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
you cannot feel the difference between 60 and like 600 fps dude!
artem1002 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
but you CAN feel it. thats the truth. and just becuz you get no more than 60fps you can't make a stupid excuse like that to make up for it. |
