I think you should do more research on the card before making assumptions like that. My friend owns the same card, and runs perfectly well on his 300PSU.You may not like it - but he doesn't mind.

I agree with you there mate. 8/10 is better for a game like this. Critics dont understand how legendry this game is. Only reason why it's 8/10? Checkpoints are terrible! :) Other then that great game, and I have same specs as you, best you can find! :)

Allows better performance in higher resolution situations, but still... 1 GB of video memory on a 8600GT isn't gonna nearly compare to a 8800 GT.

1. There's actually a huge difference between 8500gt and 8600gt2. try download newest drivers for the graphics card.
