Ronnie and Yngwie recorded their part separately and they were never actually together in the studio for this tribute to Aerosmith.I've always wanted to see those two play together on stage, so I used existing footage from Ronnie's Sabbath years and Yngwie's 1988 Leningrad gig to create this virtual duet.

Yeah, you are right.

Both versions are in F minor so it isnt in a lower key. However you might be right that he omitted it on purpose because after listenin to that scream you mentioned it's pretty obvious he can hit it. Although, hitting the notes and being able to stay up there are 2 different things...

What is this from? It's not tuned down BTW. Yngwie doesn't really fit in this gem. Dio does a couple cool things, but the original is WAY better!!!!!

One of my favs.Love Steve tyler but prefer Ronnie's vocals over Steve's here. I'm a little bias I guess.

Note that the whole song is sang in a lower key. Probably it's because he want that, not because he can not sing higher (watch for instance Heaven and Hell - Mob rules live version - the scream at the beginning). Besides Ronnie's voice wasn't ever exceptionaly high (unlike Geoff Tate's voice for example).

you gotta understand this is a relatively new cover and Dio was a little old when it was recorded, aging takes a toll on vocalists

Nice version but abit shameful that a power metal vocalist couldn't hit Steve Tylers high notes at the end considering that's what power metal vocalists are known for lol

Sure the guitarworks impressive and all but for a song like this you don't need to put as many notes into one little bit as possible, not saying its bad but i prefer the original

It's not bad but i think the original version (aerosmith) is better. Steven Tyler has his own stile. Dio's style is different and doesn't work on this song (in my opinion).
