Let me just end this rant by making myself clear. Bill Maher was right and the Religious freaks are wrong. Is that what everyone wants to hear? Is that what makes everyone happy I really hope so. Because all this finger pointing is silly.

Another thing, I never said I was better than anyone. You said it yourself, I'm trying to be good because I admit I'm not. I didn't come here to make an excuse or explain the actions of a Reverend. I didnt and never do bash any Athiests at all. I agreed with everyone on here that what Falwell said was wrong. I respect your beliefs, but I am upset that i didnt get the same in return. Am I not free to even agree with you? I thought that's what everyone wanted me to do?

You know, I humbly and willfully admitted that an Athiest was right to be angry, and what do I get in return? I get criticized by those who supposedly never said anything they regretted in thier lives. It shows how selfish and indifferent you guys are. I'm sorry, but this pushes me 10 steps back from both Athiesm and Religion. 2 bad peas in a pot. What did you expect? That I stay defensless when I'm being attacked here after I admitted an athiest was right? I thought you guys were compassionate.

So, you didn't answer my question. But ok, what stops you tuff guy? If its your "own" conscience that keeps you from being bad or good, then you willfully admit that your afraid of your own self. This just proves that Athiests can't even believe in themselves, so how can anyone expect them to believe in any thing. I have yet to meet an athiest who thinks positive. I mean look at all these negative comments I read. Whine, whine, whine! Instead of admitting nobody's perfect,we rather point fingers

Tell me this, so you are or you try to be good, only because of fear of a punishment? You don;t have your "own" conscience that tell you what is good or bad, but a God to impose that on you in a form of fear. This just pushed one more step towards atheism, thanks!

Religion and Athiesm are 2 seperate beliefs that share the same guilt for raping, violating, and abusing the true meaning behind the word of God. When will the hypocracy end? Or better yet, when will we all humbly admit that we have no idea what the "hell"(funny) we are talking about?
