I'm sorry but please don't make claim that you just pull right out of your behind. Of course, right at the beginning of the project, they had to take into consideration how the rotors would play a part in its stealth aspect. What do you think these engineers with degrees from the best colleges and decades in experience are? Idiots who after a decade developing a stealth copter, just one morning figured out "hey guys, I think we forgot that copters have rotors."

UAV developments probably contributed, but remember how a few years ago the news cycle was focused on UCAV's as the future? Those UCAV's are now in the Smithsonian, and that concept has been pretty well toned down as not yet possible.

I thought it was cancelled because of advances in UAV and UCAV technologies that makes them able to do the same jobs as the commanche without and human risk.
