There is a stave church in Moorhead, Minnesota at the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center that is a full-scale replica of the Hopperstad Church located in the town of Vik, Norway. Fun place to visit if you like wood ships & wood churches.

There is 76-foot, exact replica of a Viking ship that sits at the MNHeritage-Hjemkomst Interpretive Center in Moorhead Minnesota. It was sailed 6100 miles from Duluth, MN to Bergen, Norway where they arrived on July 19,1982.

The ship was rigged a little later. I don't have video from the rigging, unfortunately. Some of my other videos shows the ship with rig, but not under sail.
