Is it true that the only effect the glock 19 will do to a person is tickle him to death? I really don't believe it, but I am planning to get this and I want it to be a kick ass gun. please help

Totally agree with you. Also, I think it would be easy to determine good from bad. How? If you're setting in class and a gunman (or gunmen) enter and start shooting..........those are the bad guys.True CCW holders don't go looking for trouble. It's a defensive weapon only.

3rd generation has the light/accessory rail and also the finger grooves.2nd generation does not have the light/accessory rail or the finger grooves.I might be wrong, but I think the 3rd generations might have a "drop free" magwell which means it should allow the magazines to drop clear from the pistol when released. There might also be a difference of an ambidextrous mag release.Cosmetics though, the only differences are the rails and finger grooves.
