That out-of-focus photo was where the leadership problem was. If they wanted a "sense of speed", a good photographer can give it a "motion blur" (you can see such photos in most stock photo catalogues). But those guys accepted sub-par quality.

Chris could have save himself from losing in this task. Think about it. Tana is exampt, and the other guys will not be a good choice either because the ladies were better in the previous tasks. Therefore, Chris actually only has one choice to choose from. The one who brought the other team to victory, while her teammate went to sleep.
