Alison hates everyone...Madonna, Roisin Murphy, Kylie... i think its because her success has come so late. In reality she's i amixture of those ladies she slaggs off. Still i love her though and she was mesmerising live in Manchester.

Seems kinda pointless to compare the two- since they are NOTHing alike.Duffy is operating in a MUCH more commercial(and musically simplistic)vein.Don't agree at ALL that 7th Tree is nothing new-it IS, for Goldfrapp- a comPLETEly new direction from their previous, more dance-oriented stuff- and it's to their credit that they did that-moreover,the writing & playing on 7th Treeis nothing short of brilliant.Amazing how they so closely replicated acoustic instruments electronically, too.

I agree money and sucess is not everything, but like what I've already said, the new Goldfrapp album doesn't seen progressive, new, or innovative. Seems like Goldfrapp was always lightyears ahead of the game, just not in this new CD. I don't like Duffy cuz shes successful, I like it cuz it seems like a new sound, even thought yes I know whats her name probably pioneered it first.

not everyone cares about success, and definitely not everyone can see through the fact that Duffy wouldn't be around if it weren't for a sudden interest in her genre, especially after whats her name coke-whore.
