This CX version or the single main rotor version, which would be best for flying indoor and outdoor?

Unsure, but the difference in performance is huge, even down to quietness. Let me know how you get on. I see the BuzzFly is open for pre-order.

That's a good tip, do you think this forces a software reset on the gyro or just sets the trim so it can be altered further.

GhostyDog, Found another tip to stop the circling. Disconnect the battery from the Buzz and switch of the transmitter. Move the rudder and Aileron trims fully to the left. Switch on the transmitter and connect the battery to the Buzz. Move both the trims either back to the centre or where you have them set and away you go. I've found this works every time especially if I've had a knock. Must be something to do with the gyro!

For those who don't know! I think I've solved the circling motion! Slightly tighten the screws on the rotor blades so they don't wobble yet still free to move. My Buzz has been solid and mega stable since I looked at this tip from a web site. I've now found you can really throw the Buzz around, she's happy with what ever you want to do, within reason! Stable, smooth and precise!

Yep, it's really worked you can throw the Buzz around and she's happy with you want to do! Stable, precise, I really must have struggled before, now it's a doddle to fly. Apparently the Buzzfly 2.4Ghz will be available May(ish)

You know it's funny you mention that I was looking at the blades the other night and thought they seemed a little sloppy but couldn't remember what they were like out the box. I'll give it a go, currently still theiving the toolkit from work ;)

Don't hold me liable! I think I've solved the circling motion! Slightly tighten the screws on the rotor blades so they don't wobble yet still free to move. Mine's been solid and mega stable since I looked at this tip on a web site. Found a screw driver yet cos you'll need one for this?

Yeah I bought one of those screwdrivers and it's too big, or I'm cack handed. :( Fortunatly I have a very smalls et of screwdrivers at work so i'll be taking those home tonight.

No worries, I managed to mend my splintered tail truss with a two part bonding adhesive called SX Siroflex which at least keeps it together till you crash it again!. I could'nt get Super glue to work! I still recommend the Wera PH0 Philips screwdriver, from the Buzz guys you initially think it's to big but no it works. Cheers |
