what ever, more interestingly... if in computer terms a neuron is a router; capable of recieving (messages/packets) and route them to destination areas; where exactly is all the data stored? In individual neurons? Or do packs of neurons in some part of the brain for some sort of hard drive? If so, how many hard drives would we have? You could die and completly stop electric circuting... and then be restarted with all memory back online?so: do we have magnectic hard drives, or just ram?

the comment i posted 7mts ago is very much in line with your comment here. i said evolution was a theory, i did not say it was or wasn't true. i was refering specifically to Bacterial evolution as a fact as it can be observed.

bacterial evolution is not the only phenomena that supports human evolution, think about natural selection, among other things. none of us here have all the facts, so NONE of us should argue like we do have all the facts. Make sense?

Off the top of my head, I couldn't give you ant titles. However, Looking at Wikipedia, they list a couple of his more well-known works that are quite interesting. I'd take a look and start there.

Jung is very interesting, I've read book about him but nothing actually by him, could recommend anything?

The brain is certainly an amazing feat, no matter how it was created. My theory is that we are the product of chemical process formulated by the consciousness that exists within and without us.

OK, so what's next?

You should read of some of the theories about "collective subconsciousness" by Jung.

Our brains are functioning in the future and we're living in the past. Even string theory elucidates it; A theory soon to explain everything about our universe - one of the infinite number of universes of the REAL WORLD (the world where everything is living in the present and everything happens with 1.0 probability)!

Why is it whenever people are trying to learn something scientific and factual does religion get involved? They are both polar opposites. One is hard facts. The other is superstition without any hard concrete evidence that can be proven through use of the scientific method. |
