Mantelope was an idea Dave Thomas and I put together as sort of a joke. We were busy making a series called "Poochini" at the time ... and the studio "asked" us to pitch an idea for a web series. We knew we wouldn't have time to make anything... So we thought of the worst idea we could... Knowing Cartoon Network / Frederator would never go for it.Half Man! Half Antelope! MANTELOPE!!! Well they loved it.
