I read that Peter said something like, "If I'm getting bored with it - chances are the fans/listeners are, too." And if you know who Peter Tagtgren is (which you probably do if you've been in the extreme metal loop for any amount of itme), he's been around, he's got a diverse range of death vocals. He's pro.Stanne's good, too. He's a great growler and a pretty good screamer. But I don't know what he was trying in this song..or if he was just having a bad day.

An informed statement, not just someone talking out their ass (like too many on youtube). Like Rated said, they have good days and bad days, it takes vocal training, and the proper delivery so you don't damage your vocals. (especially during long gigs)But I digress - it does seem like Damage Done is what happened to Stanne's vocals on this gig? or just this song perhaps. If you've ever read a Peter Tagtgren (of Hypcrisy) interview though-- he says that he'll switch up vocal styles live.

Yes this was definatly the kind of music they had in the middle ages. Because thats when King Charles the 3rd started melodic death metal.
