I especially like the effects towards the end that sound like a radio detuning.

Thank you! Yes, the music is by me. I would say that you should seek out recordings which contain the two synths and decide which of the two has the sound you seek. Both are fantastic. The ARP has a great deal more functionality, but the Minimoog has that trademark sound. I might suggest getting the best of both worlds and finding an earlier grey-faced ARP 2600, most of which contain a Moog-ripoff filter!

I've finished watching this amazing series, and I'm very impressed with the functions of this wonderful synth and the cool intro music, if you wrote it I must say that you're an amazing musicians, and now I have a question, I have finally got the funds to buy myself a synth, around 4000 USD and I'm kinda looking for an analog synth from the 70's would you recommend a minimoog model D or an ARP 2600, I found a few on e-bay (I have no experience on synths, but a lot on the piano, suggestions? )
