Just downloaded Encanto from iTunes and am crazy about it! It's really a distillation of the most compelling, authentic sounds of Sergio's career. Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, and English - really global appeal.

I've also had the good fortune to hear an advance copy of Encanto. It's brilliant--Sergio's best work since Brasiliero and far superior to Timeless. The Lani Hall track ("Dreamer") is a particular highlight. As for Fergie's warbling on "The Look Of Love" the less said, the better. She's just another pop tart who, if not for Pilates and Pro Tools, would be languishing in well deserved obscurity.

songplugger - thanks for that info! yes, really lookin' forward to this cd ..I can just tell it'll be awesome from the clips and this promo and who's collaborating on it! Serg has some incredible talent and vision... doesn't he! I'm going to try to obtain the cd before the 6/08 release date in US...may need schedule a tour in Rio...haha! :) regards!
