Problem is, we have longish memories. You say that '"Butcher" Cumberland had the right idea', but ALL of us know what you're talking about.Scots can still debate the merits/demerits of "Charlie" with passion (personally, he should have gone large, or not come at all). How do YOU debate the conscious effort to wipe Gaeldom off the map? For the record, what video were you thinking of?Also for the record, there are worse neighbours to have than the English, at least now.

Top tune. It was originaly written by a man names Eric Bogle from Peebles,Scottish Borders. I first heard The Men They Couldn't Hang sing it at The Scottish Borders College of Textiles in approx. 1988.
