Rhapsody In Blue was first performed in 1924 with Gershwin at the Piano. Gershwin then passed away at the age of 39 in 1937 from a brain tumor. Which was a complete disapointment! He was at the peak of his career when he died! If Rhapsody In Blue is brilliant, just imagine all of the other great works that Gershwin could have made if he didn't pass away! George Gershwin is a brilliant composer and remains to be one of my favorites!
