Fairly common technique- I've done it on Suwannee river at school, start of the recording sounding like someone tone deaf playing it, then going into the heavy boogie

This is a giant leap from you at 13. The real challenge - as you know but doodoos don't - is to construct a development that holds the attention all the way through, which this does. I'm still working at it!
