I would say about 95% of the American people have no grasp of Middle Eastern affairs. What a good majority of the American people do not understand is that America lost the Iraq war the day Saddam was overthrown. Due to the fact that his last name is al-Sadr, Muqtada will always have a role to play in Iraq. Iraqi Shias follow him just like they did his father, Baqir.Al-Sadr is an Iraqi nationalist, he dislikes American stooges and Iranian stooges in Iraq.

LOL, kill Al-Sadr? Yes, you Middle East expert, that would have been the wise thing to do. You kill a man whose father, father-in-law, two brothers, and aunt were all killed by Saddam. You kill him and then wind up having 160,000 American troops in armed conflict with 11 million Iraqi Shi'ites due to the fact that Iraqis Shiites revere the family name Al-Sadr.You my friend have got to be a McCain supporter because only he would say something as stupid as you just did.
