Wow! An incredible interpretation of the (small) episode in the Mahabharatha! I've never heard it so beautifully yet so succinctly explained before.

Swamiji, My humble Salutation to you. Even though I have not met you in person: your teachings and explantions in Mahabaratha, reflecting on each indivudual's Yutha to enlightenment is just breathtaking. I pray that more people would listen to all your wonderful Discourses to uplift themselves. I have been with many Gurus, but none have taught to this depth and extent.

Yogananda spoke it first to the west, read his Gita. Also Kurukshetra was an actual historic event, so it's not just a myth and allegory. It was event on many levels and therefore has an infinite depth of meaning. This is just one of the aspects. In India each sect fights for their version, but in reality there is infinite depth, so is the story of Moses and Christ. At the end Pandavas finished each other as well, he didn't get to that

Swamiji has wonderfully explained why we find it "hard" to meditate. There is a war going on inside. Our conditioning (rules/values), intellectual knowledge, compassion ... everything is bubbling up all the time ... all revolving around our attachment to our selves and our self image. Thanks Swamiji. With YouTube, you are never far away ;-)
