i dont know if i am wrong but on your website it says that the new method of playing the A chord is "shown in the neck diagram" but its not.. the diagram shows the old method. Maybe i am getting it wrong but i only realised the new method you described in your website by watching this video.. and the new method is alot easier...

just dont play the A chord like he does, its easier to put ur index finger on the 4th string middle finger on 3rd, and ring finger on 2nd, its much easier,

mine used to really hurt too,ive been playhing guitar everyday for 2 years now, and i know all the chords, and the tips of my fingers are hard and cant even feel the strings now, keep at it:)

I just started playing 3 days ago and my fingers are fraking purple. but i know thats normal for beginners.ou nice teaching btw :)
