hulkstrom is so full of caribou dung ...I worked in prudhoe for 12 years for the corrosion dept inspecting the pipline all over the north slope and never saw any oil coming out of the ground on its own lol hehehe the caribou are totally safe and so is the tundra so this is all a bunch of liberal bull as usual so is "so called global warming" everyone should see the video called the great global warming swindle.... Mans contribution to green house gases is very small compared to the sun

Don't let proponents of oil drilling lie to you. This idea that there is 10 billiuon barrels of oil there are gamblingon the last pristine wilderness in North America. An oil geologist said to me that there is only a 1 in 25 chance that there is that much oil. The oil is offshore in the Beaufort sea. That's why the oil companies want to encourage global warming to make it easier.

This is a beautiful film about a very beautiful place. Thankyou! You are lucky to have seen this . Time is so precious now on our little blue planet.. Is everyone getting that??? I like the technique of having the legislators speak from a little box on the screen. You get the idea of how easy it is to lie about something when you are far away. I get that the reason it IS pristine is 'coz it is so many miles from Washington DC. Loved the music too. It's a pity Caribou don't vote!

you know that the beautiful places in this film are ecologically linked to why the Caribou return year after year. A healthy refuge includes the coastal plain and the mountains. The oil is not here on the plain (tundra) but outside in the Beaufort Sea, offshore where the whales and seals belong.

I lived there, there is so much oil it comes out of the tundra when walking on it, so much it even kills caribou. Anyone that has lived there would agree. Also, they dont drill in the beautiful places you see on the screen. they never will since there is no oil there anyways.
