Thank you for posting this video. I was wondering, if you did take video of the first class cabin ???. I read a post by someone who flew on this plane in 1996 and he mentioned that the flight attendant showed him where the bullet holes were. So I was wondering if you did take pics of that.Regards,Jazz

yes I agree with you,TWA should have invitedUli Derickson to be a guest of honor on TWA'slast 727 flight from MSY-STL since it was thesame plane in the 1985 hijacking in the middle east where she was a flight attendant on.

I do not beleive Flight 847 went to London.I think the passengers got off in Rome and switched to a Boeing 747.

it was Cairo-Athens-Rome-London the day of the hijacking. maybe there was an equipment upgrade and modification to the route after it was operated on the 727

I wonder if the flight crew on this lastflight were aware that this 727 was the sameplane in the 1985 hi-jacing in the middle east?

Wow, TWA made a big deal of their '27s going from passenger service. Same deal with Delta, American, United and Northwest. Can't say I blame them. Great airplanes to fly, really quite enjoyable on landing (unless you sink the motherfucker by pulling the speed brake handle). The only 727s we see here in Calgary now are cargo 27s flying for Purolator, CargoJet and I think FedEx. I sure miss when AA, DL and NW flew their 27s in from the states. |
