That's true, esp if your used to a 4 string. It took me about a month or two to get comfortable with my 5 string. Now both 4 and 5 feel good. The neck on the 6 strings I've seen seem way to wide. I'm sure I could get used to that too though.

A cheaper way of getting range is with a 5 or 6 string bass and they're easier to play.

it's a triple-octave neck, so yes, 36 frets. Zon actually sells a MM model. you can also try Wish Bass out. they sell a lot of customized triple-octave basses.

I love the length of that fingerboard.. i wonder how long that is... Im geussing the equivalent of 36 frets. anyone know for sure?
