Yeap, that's pretty much the thread of this song too: is seeking the truth a sin just because that will mean that you have doubts? For me that seems like a wit & intelect barrier that I wouldn't obey at all. Than again, even if there's a god, I wouldn't like someone so lame that he had to create people just to have some worshipers...No matter what your oppinion is, remember that thinking is the ONLY sign that you really live!

i dont see listening to the music a sin. if "god" really did create you the way you are, then he gave you liking of this style of music. as long as you support your religion, i would consider it no problem. only catch is, some people might accuse it as a sin because they might consider listening to a band with anti-christian lyrics in it as supporting their views. pretty much all a matter of opinion/perception.

What it sounds like is you want something to sway you from God. You have doubts about your faith and instead of reading further and asking questions, which the religion says is a sin, you are looking for something to confirm for you. You want to be either Christian or not, but instead of deciding for yourself, you are wanting a song or others to tell you. You're not satanic or a heretic, just a confused, indecisive individual.

Well see this is just a song made by us mortals and if it changes your religion then you never believed in it...if something this simple can change what you believe then what can you believe in? plus God lets us choose what happens like people only die with old age or a cause of something done by another human....think things through before you say something.

i totally agree with you.. not only 2000 years but wayy wayyy more... people say we cause our own problems but i think the core of a problem is a "system" created by people. for example if we do something against the "system" a problem occurs.. i think if god did create us, he created idiots... i've been accused of being a satanist.. but honestly, if i had to pick a side i would pick the more sensible side?..
