you know you can change the buzzer on-point through a potentiometer on the backside of the gauge cluster, right?

no one every uses that buzzered to shift.. its only there just to warn you.. but that dosnt mattter with any rotary enigne.

The buzzer comes stock on the RX7. The reason they have a buzzer is because of the rotary engine. The power is very linear and just keeps pulling as the RPM's increase, unlike a piston engine where you feel the power decrease as you reach redline. My buzzer comes on about 1,000 RPM's early, so it is a little annoying. Freaks people out that ride in the car, "What the F@$# is that noise".

Nice car, but, you should rip that shift buzzer off, if anyone needs a buzzer to know when to shift, they shouldnt be driving a modified car (not saying you need it, just stating a fact which im sure all here will agree with)

looks really good! I'm running an hks ssqv on my 6-port fb and I sound like a punk... :) are you using a tial on yours? I really like the understated sound. Using the hitachi snail? Really unique setup... also a fan of the sigg radiator overflow canister ;) |
