ok dont do the math cuz its would take me more than 500 words to expain u...but look at it this one how long it took us to find pluto? and to find out it wasnt a planet? beside we are already looking for life in other galaxies when we dont even know the exact number of solar systems in our own galaxy... and i find ur idea that we are alone in this Universe (which its pretty big) absurd.

Drake equation?ok, help me figure this one out. given the high likelihood of the existence of extra-terrestrial intelligence, why aren't there any evidence of it?away from Kardashev's theory, I assume there aren't any Type I, II, or III civilization because they simply never existed (or because this scale Kardashev proposed doesn't reflect reality or how civilizations evolve).now, what does your math say?

Personally, I find it hard to believe that at the age of science many people are still willing to believe that extra-terrastrial intelligence (at least of a race that is superior to ours) exist. It's basically a shift from the old view. Centuries ago people used to believe in fairies and angels, now they believe in little green people!The only real and scientific (falsifiable) answer to Fermi's Paradox is the rare earth Hypothesis.We shouldn't confuse sci-fi for science.
