Yea, I also think it is a little exagerated too. The players do kinda feel like steryotypes of somesort, but I have to admit, this manga/anime was the reason I started liking american football. XD

i dont know its not like that ive played football since i was 7 now 16 and if you suck ur not playing also a lot of things in this manga is greatly exagerated saying how you need a awsome cornerback its not like that and im not saying i dont not like this anime i luv it its just a bit exgerated

I read the manga and I'm currently on vol. 5There is so much depth into this opening. It tells me that even if you're a weaklink, if you stand tall and strong, you can still make it.

The manga is amazing but the anime went off on a few random story arcs, I mean what was with the cheerleader falling off a cliff!? I like eyesheild cause its all about American football not unbelievable stuff like Sena rescuing her by tying a hose to his waist, I mean I don't expect it to be to realistic but what makes it good is how its slightly exagerated, still the animation was alright and the openning was good but I tend to skip the bits that arn't in the manga... which sadly is alot :c.
