Chris Broderick of Megadeth (ex Jag Panzer and Nevermore) playing a 5 octave two handed tapping arpeggio riff, one of three examples that was done for Guitar Worlds "Betcha can't play this" column. It wasn't used because it is performed on a seven string and they wanted it to appeal to all guitarists. The other two examples are in the October 2006 issue of Guitar World.

OK THAT was pretty fucking ridiculous (and I mean that in the best possible way). I just watch players like him and Loomis, Laio etc and just laugh because they are in a league of their own from Mars!!!!

damn thats a tough riff play at your own risk cause it will sound like shit till you perfect it practice at low volume or with no amp it makes you play better and saves the ears of people who don't like the sound of fuckin up a riff

arpeggios are chordsand pentatonic is not chordialthey are about half and half considering all the blues/southern style metal bandsand then the classical style stuff is just chordial/linear scales
