I met both Levon and Rick Danko at a bar in Modesto,CA where they played. Later we went back stage and listened to two local girls play and sing. I will never forget how nice the guys were. They suggested a home cooked meal would be nice, but at the time I wasn't much of a cook.So sorry guys. If we meet again I would cook a great big breakfast for you!

YEAH Don you idiot and cowboys don't wear their hat's indoors either. He can't even fake his interest.

Don, please take off the cowboy hat. You aren't a cowboy and if you are amazed that this band isn't awesome then that tells me you have no clue about this music.

hi there, i want you to know that I am Moroccan, North africa, and that I have discovered country music 23 years ago or more, that's the only music I listen to now that I am forty.

No one else did a better job of promoting live music on radio and television than Don Imus. The state of the art studio at MSNBC was a fabulous staging area for artists ranging from Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam, Delbert McClinton, Patty Loveless, Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris and on and on. Lou's great affection for Levon Helm is typical of what Imus brought to his loyal audience on a weekly basis for many years.

Imus looks like a corpse.

I've heard warren haynes do "i shall be released," i don't think he does it justice. I love Warren and all, but its not his song.

This speaking guy is funny, but I would be same if I could be at Levon's concert!
