they are legends because they are dead. if they were still here, people wouldn't pay anywhere near as much notice. like the stones, aging hippies who look dead already, fair play they still tour but oh goodness they look ridiculous. id rather see Hendrix etc as they were.

not just music my friend. most of culture, religion, mythology, philosophy, literature, bla bla bla. we owe a lot to drugs. and those are just the good drugs. there are bad ones, tv for example, money and the rest. strange how the ones that broaden the horizons are illegal, but we can stuff our faces with fermented yeast and chemicals. sorry i'm ranting. keep the resistance alive!
